Moving to the Big Easy!!

Dear all,

Happy 2006! I hope that each of you had a wonderful holiday and that 2006 will bless you and your loved ones. James and I enjoyed our time in Atlanta with our families and friends for the holidays and returned to Shreveport yesterday. Tomorrow we'll pack up our apartment and head 5 hours south to 80 degree weather in New Orleans! We're excited about getting there and settling in to life in the Big Easy.

I wanted to send our new address and an invitiation to any and all to visit us over the next 9 months. We'd love to see you!

The house that we'd rented before Katrina was left undamaged and our neighborhood is recovering well. Tulane and Loyola will reopen in mid-January, which will certainly help in the recovery of the city. I plan to volunteer across the city as I wait for news regarding my applications for graduate school. I'm also looking forward to developing a website for a budding business. James will be quite busy over the next few months, as the 5th circuit settles back in to New Orleans. We are both excited about the adventures we have ahead of us. Jesse, as usual, will try her best to adjust to yet another move!
