Julie Completes First Year at Gables Residential Properties
Julie
recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with Gables Residential Properties.
Headquartered in Boca Raton FL, the company has properties in Atlanta, Houston, South Florida, Austin, Dallas, Tampa, San Diego/Inland Empire and Washington, D.C. Julie is the Assistant Property Manager for their Gables Druid Hills complex located close to Buckhead in Atlanta.
The property is providing Julie with loads of experience in managing people and their expectations. Gables acquired it less than a year ago and a portion of the previous owner’s tenants remain. Some of them have been less than agreeable about the more business like practices Julie and her staff are attempting to implement. Needless to say, Julie is looking forward to turning the situation around and having a smooth running operation that’ll be a good reference for her quest to move into a property manager position with Gables.
Julie’s work schedule limits her spare time activities, however she recently joined John and Sharon on a weekend camping trip at Providence Canyon in southwest Georgia; and Jody Besecker, her Europe traveling companion, for a weekend in Hilton Head with Jody’s family.
She also makes and sells a nice line of custom jewelry. She has held several shows, and plans to hold at least one more this summer. Let her know if you have jewelry design ideas you’d like to have converted into a piece for your next outing.
… and when time permits, she does an outstanding job of keeping an eye on her parents. She’s my landscape architect and culinary guide, since I have neither a natural green thumb nor an understanding of whether to put curry in pasta or on chicken.
