Christy, Traci, and Chloe Arrive

Wednesday afternoon, Christy, Traci, and Chloe arrived from North Carolina and Kentucky respectively. Chloe pretended to be impressed by the crowd assembled to greet her, but quickly let it be known that she only had eyes for her Mom and her Aunt Christy. We all enjoyed meeting her. Julie, you were right -- she is a beautiful baby.

Proud Mom!

She may be waiting
for pancakes ...

How many people does
it take to adjust a bib?

If I play my cards right and act bored, Grandpa might give me something tasty.

Traci has stopped breast feeding, and Chloe seems to be thriving on her new diet, complaining only when she is wet or dirty. Traci, we've gottta break her of that if she's gonna go riding with me -- motorcycle riders are always wet & dirty.

Grandma had a quiet day today. Her pain was more intense when she awoke this morning, but that was quickly remedied by Sarah and her trusty dropper of pain killer.  After meeting with our Hospice Case Manager Bonnie Miller and Social Worker Martha Bann in the AM, she visited with Katherine for an hour or so over Katherine's lunch hour and then napped for most of the afternoon, storing up energy for the party that will inevitably arrive as soon as Bay Village dinner hour is over.

Lee, Christy, Traci, and Chloe have taken Sarah to a much needed dinner out tonight. Sarah has taken an ever increasing role in Grandma's care since last Friday, doing whatever is necessary to keep Grandma comfortable. Given her own recent hospital stay, I was beginning to worry about her and am thankful that Lee recognized this and took action.

Farah's arrival has been delayed until Friday due to William's work schedule. Julie is still expected to arrive Friday night; I can't wait to see her -- it seems like forever since she and I have been able to visit face to face!
