Grandma Jan & Grandpa tag teamed with the D'Huyvetters to take care of Ian and Andrew while James and Gretchen were occupied with Oliver's delivery on August 6th. Today (August 7th) was our first opportunity to meet young Oliver.

Riding the hospital bed up and down (and up and down, and up ...) was a treat for Ian and Andrew. Oliver was not interested.

Andrew: "What does this button do, Daddy?" James: "Don't push it, it calls the nurse."

After visiting Oliver and Mom and Dad at the hospital, Grandma and Grandpa took Ian and Andrew home for baths, books, and bed time. It did not come a minute too soon -- we were exhausted from trying to keep up with the boys all afternoon.
