The KSA Bridge Group gathered at Josh & Jeanne Taylor's home to begin our thirty third year of bridge (we think -- if you have a better estimate, please let John or Bill know). We adjourned to Paul's Restaurant afterwards to celebrate a successful day of bridge.
The weekend also included our annual KSA Alumni dinner on Friday night. Forty two alumni gathered at Ansley Golf club for dinner and lots of lively converstation. Unfortunately our Alumni Dinner photographer was so involved in visiting that he forgot to take photos. If you didn't make it, we hope you can join us for our 2014 edition which will be held on January 24th, 2014.
Here Bridge Coordinator John calls the awards presentation to order.
High scorer for the day was Judy Ryland. Congratulations Judy!!
Second place score was earned by Jo Ann.
... an extra reward.
And third place was earned by Fernando.
Fernando declined the kiss.
Low score was earned by Bill, who will care for the traveling book until spring bridge. I don't know why he is smiling -- this is the third time he has earned it. Study harder Bill!
Captain John presented options for our three remaining 2013 bridge events. Our next gathering will be at Fernando and Carol's Lake Oconee home on April 3rd through April 7th. Summer bridge is still open. The fall outing will be at Denys and Nicole's home in France on October 28 - November 3 if there is sufficient interest. Send your feedback to John C.
The group continued to visit after dinner at Paul's.
Now John, it wasn't that expensive!
We enjoyed visiting with Elaine -- it has been way too long since we last saw her. Glad you could join us Elaine!
