Abby Young's Graduation
Bill and Jan ventured north on May 31st to help Tanya celebrate Abby's high school graduation at UT Chattanooga's McKenzie Arena. We were joined by Naomi and Beverly McKinney (Sue's Mom) and a host of Jay's family. Unfortunately Sue, Autumn, Faith, and Phebe were unable to attend. Hailee Peardon's graduation happened in Calhoun two hours after Abby's, so Mom Joelle Peardon, Waldo, Ashleigh, and Bryssa missed the Chattanooga gathering to be able to support Hailee. "Crash" Naomi and Beverly left right after Abby's ceremony and drove at breakneck speeds to Calhoun to make it to Hailee's ceremony. Congratulations to Abby and Hailee!

The graduation ceremony was a family affair. Abby was the focal point, and Aeryk participated in the opening ceremonies as part of the color guard. He is holding the Georgia flag in this photo. He is a high school junior in the same school Abby attended - Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe - and is on track to graduate next year. Very nice young man.

Renee reacts to an extra large dose of wasabi. She isn't getting much sympathy from the kids!
