Happy Birthday Ian!!

Grandma Jan and I had the privilege of attending the celebration of Ian's sixth birthday with his friends on September 27th at James and Gretchen's Decatur home. The weather was great and the kids enjoyed being able to run and play outdoors. Ian's guests were a nice mix of his kindergarten classmates plus neighborhood friends.

Ian's family birthday celebration will take place during our family October birthday bash sometime in October.

Gretchen and James hid plastic eggs and other items in the back yard for a treasure hunt. Oliver was delighted at finding the back yard full of colorful eggs before the treasure hunt started. Good job Oliver - Grandpa can identify with that!! Reminds me of the first time I accompanied my Dad and Grandfather Cobb on a round of golf. After they teed off at the first hole I ran out and brought their balls back so they could do it again. :-)
