Cross Country Awards Banquet

Gramma Jan and I joined Chace and Abby for their 2014 end of season Cross Country Awards Banquet. The banquet was held in Lilburn on November 18th at the Fellowship Hall at Mountain Park Baptist Church, a fitting location for them and the team.

Congratulations to both Chace and Abby. Both had very good seasons. Both lettered -- Chace for his second year and Abby as a freshman. Chace was recognized as a letterman scholar athlete for his performance in the classroom as well as on the track.

We are proud grandparents. Chace and Abby have both been very involved in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities throughout their school careers: theater, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, cross country, church youth groups, teaching youth groups at their church, camping, et cetera. They are well grounded lovable young people. We are proud of what they have accomplished in their short lives, and look forward to watching them continue to grow out of the mold that Sharon and John so successfully made for them.
