Abby’s Lacrosse Game

Abby’s lacrosse team, the Parkview Panthers, played the Mountain View Bears on Saturday, April 26th in the Gwinnett County High School Lacrosse Tournament. The game was played at Shorty Howell Park in Duluth. The teams that were playing consist of junior high students who will feed into Mountain View High School and Parkview High School next year. The teams were well matched and the game was not decided until the last 30 seconds when the Bears scored the winning goal. Seven of the fifteen goals scored were scored in the last 16 minutes of non-stop second half action, and the game really got exciting with 7 minutes to go. Abby and her team played very well; we are extremely proud of the team and their efforts. In the following photos, Abby’s team is the home team and in the blue jerseys. Abby wears #9.
